Meet Coach Adam

We all have a long list of things we can’t do – my job as a coach is to help people discover and focus on what they can do. My coaching philosophy is built around adaptability and enjoying the process. Life doesn’t stop when you’re training, so the best plans are the ones that evolve with you. Whether it’s work, family, injuries or the unexpected curveballs life throws our way, coaching for me is about finding solutions together and making the most of the time you have.

I came into coaching because I wanted to better understand how to improve my own performance, with the long-term goal of helping others become the best version of themselves. Through self-coaching, I’ve qualified to represent Great Britain at the World Cross Triathlon Championships and competed at the European Duathlon Championships, all while juggling a busy career and raising two young daughters.

My sporting journey started with football, cricket, tennis and golf before moving into Muay Thai and boxing, where I coached classes throughout my 20s and 30s. Alongside this, my background in Sports Science and a degree in Prosthetics and Orthotics gave me a strong understanding of anatomy, biomechanics and performance, which I now teach to healthcare professionals.
Away from KTC, I’m a proud husband to Katy and dad to two amazing girls. When I’m not training or coaching, you’ll usually find us exploring in our campervan or cheering from the sidelines at swimming, gymnastics and netball. And if you ever want a random fact… I was a childhood TV star, appearing on Playdays at Peggy Patch Stop!
