Matthew Mollart transitioned into coaching in 2018 after years of competing in triathlons across a wide range of distances. Having experienced firsthand how expert guidance at Knutsford Tri Club (KTC) unlocked his own potential, he stepped up to coach and help others develop. Today, Matthew is a highly qualified BTF Level 2 Coach, Personal Coach, and Strength and Conditioning specialist. Outside of the club, he balances his coaching passion with family life and a demanding career as a Civil Engineer, leading major infrastructure design teams that shape local communities. [1]
Matthew’s core coaching philosophy is rooted in the belief that training must be fun, engaging, and rewarding to drive true performance. He places a heavy emphasis on the profound benefits of exercise on mental health, striving to make every session a positive release for his athletes. For Matthew, the ultimate reward is watching members transform from stressed or frustrated after a long day at work into smiling, energized athletes by the time they leave.
